Antique detailed gold wash brooch, featuring pale grey, off-white and cut steel beads, threaded by hand using wire, and clear paste stones.
Measuring length 5.9cm / 2.3 inches by maximum width 3.4cm / 1.3 inches.
The trombone catch works but is loose. The gold wash has some wear. We have given the brooch a light clean.
This is a beautiful and unusual antique brooch. A rare find, circa mid 19th century.
