West Germany heavy sterling silver powder compact, featuring a textured and shiny hand engraved stylised leaf and scroll design. The back is ridged.
Inside there is a bevel edged mirror with engine turned surround, and an engine turned cover which opens for the powder and sieve.
There is some general scratching, and minor denting to the back, the front has one very minor dent. The compact is stamped on the rim.
This is a beautiful and substantial West German sterling silver powder compact. Circa 1950s.
